We are very fortunate to have such an enthusiastic and well-qualified team at each Centre. Each member of staff is committed to giving of their best for your children and each senior member of staff has a chosen area with specialist knowledge that the rest of the team can tap into. Knowledge and training is shared between the settings.

We have a range of qualified teachers, NNEB’s, NVQ level 3 and 4 in child-care, and all senior staff have additional qualifications including health and safety training, first aid, management, food handling, behaviour, special needs, music and movement, child protection and many more. All staff have enhanced police checks (CRB). Certificates are displayed in a folder in the entrance. Between us we have more than 100 years of child care experience. The team’s skills in preparing activities that relate to a child’s readiness are paramount. We are very aware and responsive to children’s needs.

Margaret King, Director has a wealth of experience in Early Years, having researched into early years in Italy and having visited the pre-schools of Denmark has incorporated the very best of both the Italian Reggio Emilia artistic, child centred approach and the Danish Nature approach to the curriculum. Margaret was awarded a Best Practice Research Scholarship to look into the positive effects of physical movement on young children’s co-ordination which affects all areas of their development and underlies much of what the children do. Sadie Hopley has a BAQTS in Early Years she has worked as a Reception teacher and had advanced skills status prior to choosing to develop her management skills further. Sadie is a music specialist and has developed exciting sessions for parents and children Sadie manages Rosebank. She has also just completed an MA at the renowned Pen Green Centre.

Our curriculum which has been tried tested and developed at our nurseries provides a firm foundation for developing the ‘whole child’, physically, mentally, and socially.
